Monica Davis has over 20 years of stellar and award winning performance serving the federal government and private sector from the Pentagon to the Department of State to major corporations including Northrop Grumman and Unisys. As an operations specialist, webmaster, software engineer and business consultant, Monica has consistently achieved the highest of customer satisfaction and loyalty. As an expert in the field of Computer Information Systems, her commitment to achieving customer loyalty gained her the position of becoming the point of contact for high level officials in the federal government assisting them in making technological decisions that affected policy and presenting business process development and improvement analysis.
She also has provided technological expertise internationally as part of support teams for two Secretaries of State, traveling to countries including Kuwait, Denmark and Iceland, and also serving the United Nations and other U.S. diplomatic conferences.
Monica has used her technical and business expertise and signature personal touch to help initiate and establish partnerships between federal and corporate clients, often leading to successful ventures.
As President of Atela Productions, Inc., her success extends well beyond the corporate world. She is the creator and former executive producer and host of the award-winning Extraordinary Everyday People television talk show and also the Monica Davis Show produced in the Washington, D.C. area. She also served as host, interviewee and panelist on other local television shows in the Washington, D.C. area.
As a volunteer for six years, Ms. Davis served two terms on the Board of Directors of Arlington Independent Media, a non-profit organization and a local cable television station in Arlington, Virginia, ending her tenure as Vice President in 2004. During her tenure she served as Chairperson of the Facilities Committee and a member of the Finance, Facilities and Administrative Committees.
Monica is also Founder of Exceptional People Magazine, a publication that takes an innovative approach to showcasing some of the world’s most extraordinary people, their contributions to society and their achievements. She has interviewed some of America’s most dedicated humanitarians, successful business owners and inspirational people.
Monica also published a successful newsletter, The Exceptional Woman Newsletter, a publication that was dedicated to helping women achieve personal and professional empowerment. The newsletter has since been incorporated into Exceptional People Magazine.
Her ability to think outside the box has allowed her to create and implement extraordinary ideas to help bring about positive change in the lives of others.
