Sarah is a 38 year-old single mother of three wonderful children; Ashley, 16, Zachary, 11, and Amberleigh Rose, 6 months. Sarah was a fourth generation Floridian who ran to the mountains in 1994. Sarah owns her home in Brasstown, NC. Ashley is a Drama major at Murphy High School, and Zachary enjoys Drama and Baseball at the Martins' Creek School in Cherokee County.
Sarah received an Associates Degree in Automotive Science at Tri County Community College in August 2002. She was then hired to do preventative maintenance on dump trucks and other off road equipment such as tractors for the NC Department of Transportation. She still works for the DOT and has learned how to diagnose and make various repairs to the heavy equipment. With that knowledge she was promoted to a Vehicle Equipment Repair Technician.
She is also a volunteer firefighter for Brasstown and Warne Volunteer Fire Department, and volunteers for her children's various Drama productions with Murphy High School and Licklog Players in Hayesville.
