Art Friday |

One Dozen Who Care proudly sponsors Art Fridays, an economic development tool to aid the local community. The primary goals of the event are to encourage the economic, cultural, and artistic development of local artisans and craftsmen, help make art more accessible to the general public, and provide innovative avenues for artists and their works to be showcased. One Friday each month, from 4-7 pm, a local artist is presented to the public and his/her artworks are displayed for general viewing and potential purchase. Together, the artist and the staff at ODWC work to publicize the event, which is held at the ODWC offices and the Small Business Center, located on 65 Wilson Street in Andrews, NC. The public is invited to come in and view the artwork, talk with the artist, and meet the staff of ODWC to learn more about the programs, and how they can be a part of the extraordinary event. |
