SBC Expands Training Facility in preparation for hosting additional classes and services |
The new training facility at ODWC's SBC features eight student computer workstations and one instructor's computer, all equipped with software and high-speed internet access. |
The Small Business Center received the funds necessary to move the training facility from a small room in Suite 5 to the expanded space in Suite 6; and to equip it with furniture and computers for accommodating larger classes.
Recently, Jean Busch and Swannee Hielscher held a four-week Beadweaving class, and Tony Henry conducted an Insurance Inspector seminar.
The SBC will be focusing on full-day seminars and workshops in order to provide a more diverse collection of programs to the community. |
