Nellie Davis



  Nellie Davis is a native of Graham County, North Carolina. Her stories often reflect the   lore of these beloved mountains. Nellie works in the health care field and is the mother of   five children. She is always eager to participate in activities that enrich her community.   Nellie helped organize much of the 2000 census in Cherokee County.




Pat Hall





Patricia Hall was born, the sixth of twelve children, and raised in Simonton, Texas. She graduated from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. Pat has three children and one grandson. She plans to travel and work all over the world and has been telling stories since she learned to talk.


Ann Miller Woodford






  Ann Miller Woodford was born and raised in Andrews, North Carolina. She is a   professional artist and has traveled extensively. She is the founder and executive director   of One Dozen Who Care, Inc., the first Black 501(c)(3) community service organization   in western North Carolina.




Janice Inabinett




Janice Inabinett has a Master's in Social Work, is a third degree Reiki, and a trainer in Open Space Technology. She is a charter member of the Asheville Storytelling Guild, a co-founder of the Western North Carolina Storytelling! Conference and concert, and a member of the National Storytelling Network.







Pamela Carman






  Pamela Carman is a graduate of Mississippi State University for Women and a former   librarian and teacher. Originally from Georgia and Mississippi, she now lives in western   North Carolina. She is a writer whose hobbies are carpentry and raising goats.
