Carol is a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), a title she attained from her participation with the International Association of Administrative Professionals(IAAP). Carol is IAAP's President-elect for the 2002-2003 term.
For the past five years, Carol has been a senior administrative assistant employed at Steelcase Wood Furniture in Fletcher, North Carolina. Prior to this, she spent 14 years as an engineering secretary.
Carol believes in motivating others to come out of their comfort zone to achieve greatness. She takes great joy in seeing her friends grow to be more than they ever believed possible. She likes to recognize them publicly and considers herself to be a great "horn tooter" for others.
Carol says, "I enjoy creative people, challenging ideas, and constant change. I am always ready to take a risk with a good idea even if it means I could fall flat on my face. Boredom is my worst enemy. I borrow ideas from others and build on them. I always want to do things just a little bit better than the benchmark."
