Donna Whitley biography

Donna Whitley is the author of Roadmap to Riches on $12.50 a Week: First Steps to Financial Freedom. Born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina, she graduated from the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (now UNCG) in 1967, with degrees in History and Political Science.

She has experience in a variety of areas. During the summers of 1963-64, she was a Summer Intern in Washington, D.C. for Senator Sam J. Ervin, Jr., and in 1965 she interned at the Office of Economic Opportunity. In addition, in 1991, Donna organized the Sallie Southall Cotton Network, an organization to lobby in support of public education and to study and learn about the the legislative process.

Donna has also made herself a well-rounded person by being a consultant for Mary Kay for 10 years and a Middle Eastern Dance Instructor for 35 years.
