B. Lynne Harlan biography

B. Lynne Harlan is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and works as a Public Relations Assistant at Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Cherokee, North Carolina. She formerly served as the Executive Director of Cultural Resource for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Previous work experience includes Collections Manager at the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution, New York, New York and as a former Curator of Exhibitions at the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a co-author of The Cherokee, a short history of the Cherokee Indians and a contributing author to Mending the Circle: A Guide to Repatriation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
