Making a Difference in the Lives of Others:
One Child at a Time

A child in foster care receives monetary support from the state to cover basic necessities.

A child needs so much more than this.

Much of what these foster children experience is uncertainty. What is certain is that you can help to make a difference in the life of a child.

The idea of community-based support for children in foster care is not new. Deacon Barry will tell you about her project, The Villager Initiative, and about the many ways you, your church or organization, and your community can make the difference in the life of a child.
