This is my second year to present Powder Puff Mechanics at the Women's Conference. I'm glad that my class was so popular that I was asked to return and present it again. Hopefully, I can show you some ways to save money on repair bills, how to identify a rip-off mechanic when you encounter one, and how to outfit your car for emergencies so that you will be safer when you are driving alone.
Our session will take place out in the parking lot so that I can demonstrate to you where to look for potential mechanical problems, such as worn belts and brakes. I'll show you how to change a tire... and how to guarantee you can remove those pesky lug nuts even when a hulking man can't budge them.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, because it can be warm in May, but don't worry about getting dirty or ruining your maincure. I'm the only one who will get greasy!
