Rebecca Caldwell brings more than twenty years experience in teaching, advocacy, and nonprofit administration to her position as Director of Women's Programs and the Women's Center at Western Carolina University. She holds both the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English from the University of Tennessee. Rebecca also holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Victim Advocate. She holds a dual appointment in the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts, teaching Small Group Dynamics and Gendered Communication courses. For her work with women at Western and in the region, Rebecca draws on her experience in expressive arts therapies, program development, grant writing, crisis intervention, and mediation.
