Tonya Wilson is a Program Coordinator for Mountain Microenterprise Fund, a nonprofit organization that has 13 years of experience in providing business training, support, and funding to people across Western North Carolina who are interested in self-employment. A native of Western North Carolina, Tonya is responsible for MMF's program in the 6 western-most counties which include: Jackson, Macon, Swain, Graham, Cherokee and Clay.
In 1997, Tonya graduated from Western Carolina University with a BA in Business Administration and Law. Prior to working with MMF, she held, for four years, a business consulting position with Western Carolina University in which she helped people all across WNC start or expand their businesses. She comes from a family with several generations of entrepreneurs and she values the success of small businesses in our region.
Tonya has offices in both Sylva and Murphy and does much traveling in between the two. She currently lives in Sylva with her 3-year old son, Tristen.
