Sandy Bendzen

Born and raised on a dairy farm in the northern climate of Wisconsin, Sandy is the middle child, and oldest daughter, in a family of thirteen children. She has had an interesting and varied life that has taken her all over the United States. Her jobs have ranged from milking cows to marshaling aircraft for Delta, to owning four floral shops in Las Vegas, to her current job as a certified safety inspector for a government agency.

Most recently, Sandy became the new coordinator for Project Linus of Western North Carolina, a national, all-volunteer organization that creates beautiful, hand made blankets of love that are contributed to critically ill and traumatized children. She has thrown her heart and soul into this worthwhile venture that brings immeasurable comfort to children in distress. This is Sandy's first year as a presenter for the Multi-cultural Women's Development Conference and we enthusiastically welcome her participation!
