We know and love her for her outrageous humor. We call her our Erma Bombeck of The South. She is funny, witty, entertaining and bold.
She also suffers from chronic depression. "I have to balance tragedy with humor. Otherwise, I'd stay in bed all day crying," she says.
Susan, known and loved for her humor, will talk openly about her disease, her hospitalizations, and how she uses humor to add balance to her life. You will learn pointers on how to recognize clinical depression, how to ask for help, and how to learn to live with this illness you would not wish on your worst enemy.
In this session, you may shed a few tears, but you will leave laughing.
