Quannah's background is in adolescent psychiatrics and adult education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and a Master’s of Science in Educational Psychology, both from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
She has been employed with the University of Tennessee at Knoxville for over five years in the Families First Program. As a Career Specialist, she is charged with helping participants who receive food stamps and money from the federal government, become self sufficient.
Being active in both the community and church has allowed her to work with a variety of groups all aimed at promoting growth and success in the participants lives. In her spare time, she counsels at-risk youth in life skills and college preparation.
